Are you interested in The Refuge? Or just curious about the biblical response to abuse?
A 3 day training course will be available to any that are interested. Seminar will run from 8:30 to 4:00 on Saturday July 15th, Friday July 21st and Saturday July 22nd.
Light breakfast, snacks, drinks and lunch will be provided. Registration is required and your participation can be in one of two ways.
1) Full training, including materials and reading assignments prior to the seminar: $125.00 with registration required by June19th.
Full training is required for any person that wants to be a mentor for The Refuge.
2) Seminar which will include handouts but does not require preparation: $30.00 requested donation to cover the cost of the seminar with registration required by June 30th.
Checks can be made out to Hanover Valley Presbyterian Church with "The Refuge" in the memo line.

The Refuge Training

The full training includes costs for materials and food, including a number of resources that will need to be read prior to the event. Individuals planning on volunteering as a mentor with this ministry should select this option. The seminar option covers the cost of food. This option is essentially "auditing" the training as a seminar.
