Gathering Song (Please Stand)
Better is One Day How lovely is Your dwelling place O Lord Almighty
For my soul longs and even faints for You For here my heart is satisfied within Your presence
I sing beneath the shadow of Your wings.
Chorus: Better is one day in Your courts, Better is one day in Your house Better is one day in Your courts, than thousands elsewhere
Better is one day in Your courts, better is one day in Your house
Better is one day in Your courts, than thousands elsewhere
Than thousands elsewhere
One thing I ask and I would seek, to see Your beauty
To find You in the place Your glory dwells One thing I ask and I would seek, to see Your beauty
To find You in the place Your glory dwells Chorus
Corporate Prayer of Confession Almighty God, we come to you in sorrow for our sins, and to humbly con- fess to you our unbelief. While we know and believe that Jesus died for us on the cross, and that he was raised for us from the dead, we admit it often makes too little difference in our lives. Forgive us, we pray. Enable us to fully embrace the truth of the gospel, so that our love for you may flourish, that our obedience may be wholehearted and joyful, and that our witness may be more courageous. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our risen savior, and triumphant lord. Amen.
Words of Encouragement For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2: 8-9

Sermon Walk in Truth
Song of Reflection
Jesus I Am Resting Jesus, I am resting in the joy of what You are Slowly finding out the greatness of Your loving heart You have bid me gaze upon You, as Your beauty fills my soul For by Your transforming power, You have made me whole
Chorus: Oh, I am resting, Jesus, I am resting, in the joy of what You are
Slowly finding out the greatness, of Your loving heart
Oh how great Your loving kindness, vaster, broader than the sea
Oh how marvelous Your goodness, lavished all on me
Yes, I rest in Thee beloved, know what wealth of grace is
Thine Know the surety of Thy promise, and have made it mine Chorus
Ever lift Thy face upon me, as I work and wait for Thee Resting ‘neath Thy smile, Lord Jesus, earth’s dark shadows flee.
Brightness of my Father’s glory, sunshine of my Father’s face
Keep me ever trusting, resting, fill me with Thy grace Chorus
