Call to Worship

Gathering Songs

He is Exalted

He is Exalted

He is exalted, the King is exalted on high, I will praise Him.

He is exalted, forever exalted, and I will praise His name!

He is the Lord. Forever His truth shall reign.

Heaven and earth rejoice in His holy name.

He is exalted, the King is exalted on high. (Repeat from beginning)

He is exalted, the King is exalted on high.

Jesus Priceless Treasure

Jesus, priceless treasure,

Source of purest pleasure, truest Friend to me.

Long my heart hath panted,

‘Til it well-nigh fainted, thirsting after Thee.

Thine I am O, spotless Lamb. I will suffer naught to hide thee,

Ask for naught beside thee, ask for naught beside thee.

In Thy strength I rest me,

If Thy arms protect me, who can reach me here?

Though the earth be shaking,

Every heart be quaking, God dispels our fear.

Sin and hell and conflict fell, with their heaviest storms assail us.

Jesus will not fail us, Jesus will not fail us.

Banished is our sadness

For the Lord of gladness, Jesus, enters in.

Those who love the Father,

Though the storms may gather, still have peace within.

Yea, whate’er we here must bear, still in Thee lies purest pleasure, Jesus, priceless treasure, Jesus, priceless treasure.

Yea, whate’er we here must bear, still in Thee lies purest pleasure,

Jesus, priceless treasure,Jesus, priceless treasure.

Corporate Prayer of Confession

O Lord Jesus Christ, no day of my life has passed that has not proved me guilty in your sight. My best services are filthy rags. All things in me call for my rejection; however, all things in Christ plead my acceptance. Grant me to hear your voice assuring me that by your stripes I am healed, that you were bruised for my iniquities, that you have been made sin for me that I might be righteous in you. Grant that by resting in your righteousness I may hereafter walk in newness of life and run hard after your commandments. Amen.

Private Confession

Words of Encouragement

I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more…..I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.

Isaiah 43:25; 44:22

Song of Assurance

Rock of Ages

Rock of ages cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee

Let the water and the blood, from thy riven side which flowed

Be, of sin, the double cure, cleanse me from its guilt and pow’r

Not the labors of my hands, can fulfill thy law’s demands

Could my zeal no respite know, could my tears forever flow

All for sin could not atone. Thou must save, and Thou alone

Nothing in my hand I bring, simply to Thy cross I cling

Naked, come to Thee for dress, helpless, look to Thee for grace

Foul, I to the fountain fly, wash me Savior or I die

While I draw this fleeting breath, when mine eyelids close in death

When I soar to worlds unknown, see Thee on Thy judgement throne

Rock of ages cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee.

Sermon

Inside Out

Song of Reflection

Once Again

Jesus Christ, I think upon Your sacrifice.

You became nothing, poured out to death.

Many times I’ve wondered at Your gift of life,

And I’m in that place once again.

I’m in that place once again.

Chorus: And once again I look upon the cross where You died.

I’m humbled by Your mercy, and I’m broken inside.

Once again, I thank You. Once again, I pour out my life.

Now You are exalted to the highest place.

King of the heavens, where one day I’ll bow.

But for now, I marvel at this saving grace,

And I’m full of praise once again.

I’m full of praise once again. Chorus

Benediction

Parting Song of Praise

Once Again (Chorus)

And once again I look upon the cross where You died.

I’m humbled by Your mercy, and I’m broken inside.

Once again, I thank You. Once again, I pour out my life.
