Father of mercy and God of all compassion, in Christ you have given us a sacrifice for our sin we do not deserve and a rightness in him that we could never attain. Yet, day by day we rely on our merits, reputations and efforts to gain your approval and activity in our lives and by doing this we sin. We place our confidence more in our own goodness than in the goodness of Christ to find hope and blessing. Please forgive us. Convince us again of the power of your grace to change us and lead us through that to joy and love for you and your world. In Christ’s name we pray. Amen.

Invitation to the Lord’s Supper


The Lord’s Supper

The Lord’s Supper, also called Communion or the Eucharist, is the family meal of Christians. We welcome all committed followers of Jesus Christ to partake of this sacrament; those who are baptized members of a congregation which proclaims the gospel, who are at peace with God and with their neighbor, and who seek strength to live more faithfully for Christ. If you are not a Christian, or if you are not prepared to share in this meal, we encourage you to spend this time in prayer.


Note About the Supper: Wine is used. However, the outer ring of the tray contains non-alcoholic grape juice. The elements are in stacked cups, use care to handle only the one you are taking. Please come forward as you are instructed and take the elements back to your seat. Please hold the elements so that we may all partake together.
