Hanover Valley Sunday Service Replay - March 29th

Updated: Apr 5, 2020

Dear Friends

As another week in this virus crisis comes to an end, I wanted to send out our weekly update to keep everyone connected and encouraged.

Thank you to everyone who was a part of the worship service live stream this past Sunday. We were encouraged by the participation and by the many texts and interactions related to folks' experience with it. We will be offering it again this week and continuing to improve on the technology as we are able. Thanks for your encouragement and patience. I've attached the bulletin for the service this week.

As you may have already heard from our live stream, the session has canceled our public worship services and large group gatherings for this Sunday, March 29th and next Sunday, April 5th. We have not yet determined how we will proceed for Good Friday or Easter Sunday but, as always, will be guided by our local community and health experts and letting you know as soon as we make a decision.

Even though we are not meeting face to face or as regularly as normal, our financial needs continue and even expand as we attempt to care for our community remotely and one on one. We also have new youth ministry developing, as well as, igniting the early phases of the Kids Fest process. We are so very grateful for your financial gifts and support. Our support options remain the same. Mailed checked to the church address, online giving, text giving and direct bank deposits are all available and open to your choice. Let us know if we can help you with any option or difficulty.

I wanted to pass along some music this week for your encouragement. The link below will take you to the musician who wrote the arrangement of Rock of Ages we most often use in our worship times. His name is James Ward. He has been an amazing musician from my own childhood and I have always found his rendition of this hymn so moving.

Please keep praying and reaching out to others in your neighborhood, network and church. Touch a few new lives everyday. If you have any needs or concerns please contact Noah or me or one of the elders. We are happy to come to you or chat by phone or media. We love you and our resting savior is active in this storm to care and bring us peace.
