The middle and high school years are always a tumultuous time full of growth, joy, heartache, and a search for significance. Our desire at Hanover Valley is to meet students where they are with the message of the gospel: that God loves and saves sinners. We believe that every teenager in the Hanover community needs the good news of Jesus and that He will transform their lives for the better. As a result, we are committed to being a church that cares for those who are already within our church and for those who are not. In order to do this we focus on four major areas: Christ, Community, Contribution and Consistency.

CHRIST

Above all else we desire for our youth to have lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. Everything we do revolves around the gospel, so we take the Bible and growth seriously. We don’t want our students to simply gain knowledge, but to gain an understanding of the transforming, all consuming nature of the love of Jesus.

COMMUNITY

God created every person to be in community, so we are committed to being a community that welcomes every person to enter into a relationship with Jesus. To do this, we desire to build relationships with those inside and outside of the church.

CONTRIBUTION

We believe that everyone has something unique to contribute to the church and to our community, and our desire is to cultivate the use of these gifts that are in every individual for use in ministering to those around them.

CONSISTENCY

Our life is made up of innumerable decisions that form us into who we are. We believe that it is important for us to be consistent in the the things that give us life, and we recognize that it is through Christ and Community that our lives are transformed, so we desire to be consistent in following Jesus Christ and gathering together.
